This is the first primary post to the Supaproofread.com Blog.This blog will guide you through the events and development of the Supaproofread.co.uk and .com website (they both link to the same website by the way).

New and interesting information has been added to the Articles, Career Centre and Fun stuff areas of the Supaproofread website – the film in the fun stuff section, about the ‘Impo[r]tence of proofreading’ is rather funny, take a look.

Also, with the addition of this blog I hope that people will be able to learn new things, not just about writing, but about business and the internet in general.A few topics have been created for our editors and proofreaders to post to, including; writing tips, student writing advice, websites & business, as well as up-to-date Supaproofread news.More topics will be added to the blog as it develops and anyone who is interested in contributing please contact me.

So, who am I?Well, I’m Nick Sanders and the founder of the business which owns Supaproofread (namely Supaservices Ltd).I started the business back in 2005 and really wasn’t prepared for what happened – which wasn’t much.I started the business on www.zbsl.co.uk, and later moved the page to www.editmywork.co.uk.

After working for quite a while on this site I finally decided on a name that suited what I thought the business was about – SUPAPROOFREAD; this name I considered to be a little individual, but it also had some other connotations to it, which hopefully would have impact on the future of the brand and business.
